Web Changes

This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

May, 2008 We now can accept Discover credit cards (along with Visa and Mastercard).

April, 2008 We are preparing the campground for another great camping season. We have planted 35 more trees in rows 3, 4 & 5.

February 23, 2008   We have VERY SAD NEWS to announce. Ed Guth, Raceview Family Campground operations manager has passed away. Funeral services will be held at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg on Wednesday February 27th- visitation is 11:00-1:00 with services beginning at 1:00.

January 17, 2008 Happy New Year! The dates for the 3 events that we take reservations for are confirmed and listed.

December 17, 2007 A 2008 schedule has been posted. However, the dates are estimated as O'Reilly Raceway Park has not released their racing schedule yet. Look for an updated schedule in late January 2008.

April 19, 2007  We have just installed computer software that will allow our campers to reserve a camp site online with their credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). Just click on the yellow Reservation tab over to the left of the screen and scroll down near the bottom of the page to the bookyoursite.com link or click on the link on the bottom left of every page. We hope this will be more convenient for our campers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do you take reservations? Yes, but only for the NHRA Goodguys Hot Rod Nationals, NASCAR Speedfest/Brickyard and NHRA US National Drags. Please see the reservation information listed on the reservation-prepay page. You may make a reservation/ prepayment by emailing to info@raceviewcampground.com or calling (317) 852-5737 and requesting a site.

Do you have water and sewer at the site? No, we do not have water and sewer at each site. However, we have an RV sanitary station and a fresh water fill-up station FREE to our campers.  We also have RV Pumping Service at your site for $25.

Can we have a campfire? Yes. We also sell nice firewood (normal sized logs).

We are arriving very late at night. Will I be able to check-in? Yes, for our large events we have a gate attendant on duty 24 hours a day. For the smaller events you can go ahead and choose your site; in the morning you will need to come to the front gate and purchase your credentials.

Do you lock your gates at night? No, our gates are open during the events for you to come and go as needed.

Can we have visitors? Yes, however you must register your guest with the front gate attendant and they will have to park in the designated parking area and depart by midnight. During race competition times all visitors will be charged a parking fee. During some events evening visitors will be required to pay for parking and leave an ID. Any "visitor" who stays all night must pay the camping fee.

What are credentials? Credentials are what you will receive at check-in. Each camper who pays to stay at Raceview Family Campground will get an armband, each small vehicle will get a tag, and each RV will get a windshield sticker -two, if purchasing an electric site and each tow vehicle will receive a sticker. All campers and their vehicles going in the campground should have evidence that they are a paid guest. Campground staff and security will be watching for credentials. All campers should wear their armband at all times and vehicles should obey the stop sign at the gate entrance as gate attendants will be checking credentials. The use of credentials have proven to enhance security.

Can I bring a golf cart or small vehicle to ride around in the campground? Yes, but for most events you will be required to purchase a small vehicle permit for $20 each vehicle at check-in and follow all listed rules. Any vehicle that has a state issued license plate is not required to purchase a permit.
